Tuesday 24 March: We are temporarily Closed

KC Cottage Business Status: Coronavirus COVID-19

Tuesday 24 March 2020

While we remain in good health here at KC Cottage we have taken the decision to temporarily close following the government announcement to increase our social distancing. Post Offices are still open but at this time we feel the right thing to do is to reduce our trips outside and to the post office.

Being an online business we can be flexible with how long we do close for, either the full three weeks or we can re-open sooner, right now we haven't made a decision either way but we will keep you fully updated!

So for now Stay Home, Stay Safe & Save Lives!

Thanks

Sunday 15 March 2020

KC Cottage is well and we are open for business as usual.

If at any point we become unwell with COVID-19 symptoms we will immediately temporarily close for the time advised by the medical experts.

Being an online business this closure might seem extreme as there is very little risk of transmission via post and parcels, but as this is a new virus we would prefer to stay on the side of caution for the sake of our wonderful customers. Also the closure allows us time to rest and recover.

  • During the closure you will not be able to place an order with us
  • If you have placed an order and we become unwell before posting we will cancel your order and issue a refund to you
  • Our closure would likely last for a minimum of 14 days as per the government advice, we will also apply our own judgement based on how we are feeling.
